For this week’s Because I Said So, MommaDJane and I are going to discuss: What would you do if you won the lottery?
First off let me say, I will never win the lottery. You have to play to win. I occasionally will buy a scratch and win but I never play te Pick 5 or anything. It is not that I have anything against the lottery, I just have other priorities that my money needs to be spent on. But for the sake of Because I Said So, we’ll assume that I do play.
Basics
Of course with the influx of that cash, I would never have to worry about my bills. I would pay off all my bills. I would buy a little nicer house. I would buy both my parents and in laws houses for them. Most importantly, I would keep a job. In a different Because I Said So, we’ll cover our dream job.
Charity
I am a firm believer in karma. If I was to won the lottery. I percentage would go to charity. I have a couple of charities that I support. St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital (I used to work there) and Susan G. Komen are the two big ones for me.
My Child’s Education
Both my wife and I are products of private education. I place a high value on education. If I was to win the lottery, I would never have to worry about my child’s education.
Invest
I would set up investments for the future. I also would set up an organization or incubator for entrepreneurs. I am a huge fan of Twitter, Facebook, Foursquare, and other social media tools. Somewhere out there is someone with the next big idea but they need funding. I think it is called Angel Investing.
Bucket List
Finally, I would complete my 100 Things to Do Before I Die. After I did that I would write a whole new list and complete it.
Let’s head over to MommaDJane to check out her opinion.

J.R. Reed´s last blog ..Getting funky
I spent a couple of hours and dreamed up a list of things I would like to do if money was no object
ha! I like what JR said. I’m doing what I want to do before I die. With the money I’d quit working and do my life even more. This job thing really steals time from my life.
