Guest blogging, Dad-o-matic, OTH Blog, Blogging decision, Twitter, Memphis Flyer Best of Memphis

First off let me announce that I am guest blogging at From Dates to Diapers on Sunday, Oct. 5th. They even gave me a cool badge to wear on that day.

I also have become an author at Dad-O-Matic. I have yet to publish an article but am writing one real soon. Anytime anyone else wants to give me a opportunity to guest blog or be an author on your blog, just email or let me know. I am always open for more writing opportunities. Hopefully one day I can make some money being a writer.

Both of these opportunities came from Twitter. Twitter is “a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?” Think of as a status bar of facebook or myspace.

There are lots of different ways to use it and applications for its use. Later next week I will post a list of tools to use with Twitter but one on the most innovative ways I have seen is Downtown Paul’s use to tell people the fire sale at the Downtown Flying Saucer. By the way, congrats to Paul for winning the Memphis Flyer’s Best of Memphis Blogger. Maybe next year I can take 3rd place or something.

My friend Lana has landed a regular blog at CW locally. Check out here OTH (One Tree Hill) Blog.

I have an announcement about a new blog I am starting but want it to launch before I do so. So Stay Tuned for that.

As you may have noticed I missed a couple days this week but I am still on average posting one blog a day. I might revisit that decision later because this blog should be about quality not quantity.

I also added some new pictures to my photo albums. I have linked them to here but if you want you can click on one of them and see the rest.
