Fatherhood Friday – New Year

by BuckDaddy on January 1, 2010

Looking back at my child’s 2009, it was a big year for her.  She is now potty trained.  She started going to school (Mother’s Day Out) three days a week.  She loves her school and I hope that continues as she gets older.  She is growing up right before my eyes.  Everyday she amazes me.  I can not wait for 2010.

I am not making any resolutions for her but there are a couple things that I would like to help her accomplish.  If they don’t get done then that is okay.  If they do get done even better.  No pressure for her and no pressure for me.

  • Learn to read.  She doesn’t have to be able to make it through War and Peace.
  • Ride a bike with training wheels.  We got one for Christmas so I think it is doable
  • Learn to swim.  Not sure how we are going to accomplish this because we don’t have access to a pool.
