So a couple of weeks ago, GeekDad asked for writers. GeekDad is a blog written by Dads and hosted by Wired. I wouldn’t get paid to write but it would have been fun. I sent them a couple of links and what I am interested in and crossed my fingers. Waited and waited and
Got rejected. I received this email a couple of minutes ago
This is the tough email to write. The response to our call for new GeekDad writers was so overwhelming, we were left with some terribly hard choices to make. Everyone would likely have made good GeekDads, but we had to select for certain subject-matter specialties, and to cover some geographic locales. Hopefully you’ll still enjoy being part of our community, and continuing to read GeekDad. Thanks for applying and have fun with your kids!

Rejection hurts but that is okay. I’ll just write what I was going to write there and post it here. What doesn’t kill, just hurts makes you stronger. I will still enjoy reading GeekDad.
