Baby News

We are inducing on Friday morning. We will go in on Thursday night and the doctors will start the process on Friday morning. The story behind this is that my doctor doesnâ€™t want to work on the weekend if she doesnâ€™t have to. So that is why we are starting the process early. I will be a father by this weekend. That is way crazy. If you had told me a year ago that I be a Dad, I would have just laughed at you and told you to pass me another beer. The crazier thing is that I couldnâ€™t be happier. I canâ€™t imagine my life without the baby or Chelsea in it.

A blast from the past (Happy 25th Birthday MTV)

So last night, I was flipping thru the 600 billion channels on Time Warner. I think its channel 244 but donâ€™t quote me. Check out VH1 Classic. On August 1st 1981, MTV went on the air. Well on VH1 Classic channel, they were running the 1st hour of MTV. It was definitely a blast from the past. I got to watch the first video, â€œVideo killed the Radio Star.â€, Pat Bentar, and Rod Stewart. I really liked it. The best thing is that Tuesday, August 1st at midnight VH1 Classic will run the first 24 hours of MTV. Some of you might remember they actually played music videos.

Moved in

Finally got moved in to the apartment. Working on getting all the boxes unpacked. Mucho tahnks to my mom, Sean, Mark (sorry Mark couldn’t link yours, myspace was effing up), Nikki, and anyone else who helped. The baby room is completely setup and almost go the rest of the house looking like a home, Chelsea is the shit!

Quite possibly the best bowlers

Congrats to Sean, Nikki, Mark and Eric for taking 2nd place in our bowling league. The name of their team was the Blue Bowlers. They might change it to something else. They all got trophies and Nikki and Mark got plaques as well for being most improved. The league is every Tuesday night at 9. The league is starting a new season tonight and you can join for the nest 3 weeks. It would be wrong for me not to say that Dave, Tish, Brian (no mypsace), and I took 5th which way good for us bc we usually come in last place. Watch for Here 4 Beer to place this season.

Bullet Hole

So the other night I come home from work and Chelsea just got back from visiting her mom. We were just get settled in and about to sit down and watch TV. When there was knock on the door. Thereâ€™s Lee, my neighbor. He asked if there was hole in bathroom wall. My immediate thought was that he had hammered a hole thru the wall. He asked if he could come in and see the hole. So we went back to the bathroom and above the toilet was a little hole. He then told me that the same hole went thru his bedroom and bathroom. It continued thru my bathroom and probably would have kept going if it hadnâ€™t hit the door jam of the closet. The police came and took a police report but seemed very uninterested. Our guess is that it was some kid. I guess that is what I get for moving to the Dirty Dova, my apartment never got shot at in Midtown or East Memphis.

Staplers

If you have ever watched Office Space then you know that Swingline is the shit. Well I disagree because my Swingline sucks. It jams anytime I try to staple. Now my Stanley Bostitch kicks ass.

Well thatâ€™s the news from all over my life. Boy wasnâ€™t that exciting. I am writing the rules for the LOGO contest for the Daddy Diaries. Thanks to Tommy who submitted an idea already, WHOâ€™s The Daddy from UPN was not what I was going for.
