I have been meaning to announce this for awhile but I am happy to announce that I have been selected as one the PBS Sprout Band of Bloggers. I am 1 of 15 bloggers and I think the only Dad. PBS Sprout runs my house. You can walk in to my house anytime and hear the theme songs for Handy Mandy, Dragon Tales, Noddy, or Caillou. My daughter loves Sprout. Sprout is 24 hour children’s programming. You can check out their great program guide here and check out all the great shows.
From time to time, I will be sharing information about Sprout and the cool things they are doing. For those of you who know what Sprout is, Sproutlets can speak live with the Sunny Side Up Show host and share why he/she is thankful. The phone number is 877-91CHICA, the phone number will not be active until 8:45am ET on 11/26 so don’t call before then.
Also starting Monday 11/23 they will begin running an on-screen crawl from sproutlet viewers saying what they’re thankful for. You can check out the site and upload your message here. Sprout also have a variety of crafts to keep your little ones fingers busy to help decorate for the big feast such as placecards, napkin rings, and of course those fancy hand-turkeys.
