Previous to last year, I would go to every single rooftop party at the Peabody Hotel. I worked for the radio station that hosted them so I was working. Tomorrow night I am going to go for the first time and not work. I have wanted to see Lord T and Eloise for awhile. Shinedown will be there doing a “meet and great.” I have seen them perform so not worried about catching them. Info taken straight from Facebook.

Where: The Peabody Hotel – Rooftop
Shinedown will do a “meet and greet†at 7 p.m. Free Sol will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. with Lord T & Eloise following at 8:45 p.m. DJ Mark Anderson will keep the party going in between sets. This will also be the first year that I don’t have VIP passes. You can purchase a VIP Pass for the 2009 Season for just $50 at the door. That’s admission and valet parking for 16 parties – a $400 value – for just $50. Or the price of admission for 10 parties regular price since admission is $5 per person. Ladies get in free until 8 p.m.
This year they are upgrading the VIP experience. The VIP area will be a shaded, comfortable and loungy. VIPs will get reduced prices on drinks and free food and beverage tastings from the Peabody Chefs and MillerCoors Memphis.
Unfortunately, you can’t buy VIP entrance for just one party. Gotta buy a season VIP pass for $50. If you plan on going to all of them; it pays for itself. even if you only come to a handful of parties during the season; it will pay for itself. Not sure how many I will attend.

Lord T and Eloise are VERY INTERESTING! Saw them NYE..not my type of rap, but entertaining atleast..
