To say I am an avid reader would be understatement. I have been know to read the back of a shampoo bottle when I have nothing else to read. I love thrillers, horror, mystery, autobiographical, you name it I’ll enjoy if it is the printed word.
I have lots of books to read in “To Read” pile but I am always looking. I search the intrawebs for new and interesting books. This is how came across Christopher Ransom‘s book The Birthing House.
One review reads:
“A blend of supernatural horror and psychological thriller, Ransom’s impressive debut chronicles a couple’s descent into madness after they purchase a 140-year-old Victorian house in rural Wisconsin . . . this addictively readable ghost story will keep readers up all night, with the lights on, of course.” —Publishers Weekly.
Even better is that the author Christopher Ransom has started his own blog.
I love when you get to know the author more. I love going to hear authors speak at bookstores. I love when there is additional information about how they write or preview of chapters. You can view Chapter 1 and 2 of The Birthing House. If you like there is a trailer for the book which I have never heard of. I have heard radio commercials for books but never seen a video trailer. Check it out below.
Do you have any ghost stories?
