Trying to decide to buy a freezer

One of the hardest thing about trying to eat healthier, is the planning.  Frozen meals are great for this.  One of my favorites is Smart Ones.  The great thing about Smart Ones is it has the Weight Watchers point value on the package.  I haven’t joined up for Weight Watchers yet but soon I will.  Although my new year’s goal is not about losing weight, I think it is a nice bi-product.  Also I don’t think I will be able to do a marathon in the shape I am in.

Last night, we went to Target to buy some groceries.  We bought some Smart Ones.  They are on sale and you get a $5 gift card if you buy 10.  Also on some packages is a $4 off 10 so price point comes out real cheap.  I compared shopping prices and this had the best price.  Being out of work, I have become better at finding great shopping deals.

One of the things that we came to realize is that we need a freezer.  Being on the diet, we would like to stock up on the basics.  We also would like to start buying in bulk.  A freezer would be perfect for that.  Having a garage, we could stick the freezer out there.  Also if there is a great sale on ground beer, turkey, or some other protein, then we could stock up on those too.  I used to have a membership to Costco.  With the purchase of the freezer maybe, I will rejoin and start shopping there again.
