What to do with those Christmas Cards afterwards, don’t throw them out. We’ll make you a Card Book

by BuckDaddy on December 29, 2008

Chelsea came up with this great idea for what to do with them. A Card Book! I think she heard about it from the scrapbook store or somewhere. Anyway it goes it is a great idea. The Card Book is holiday cards bound together with a cover. It is a great way to save your cards and be able to look back at them. It doesn’t take up a lot of space and easy to access if you want to look back. Chelsea has offered to do it for my readers, friends, etc for a fee of $20.

I had her type out instructions so it would be exactly what she needs.

1. Organize your cards in the order you want them in the book. If you don’t care then put them in a stack too. Take two rubber bands and put them around each side but not too tightly. Don’t want to ruin the cards, just keep them from getting loose. 25 is the maximum number of cards per book.

2. Write or type out your contact information. Please include your name, mailing, address and email. Put the contact information between the rubber bands on top of the cards.

3. As far as payment, we were thinking you could either include a check made out to “Chelsea Rogers” or we could accept PayPal. I think check would be better so we didn’t have to deal with fees from PayPal but we are flexible. $20 is what it will cost you to have this custom made book.

4. Email me at: buckrogers79@gmail.com and I will send you my mailing address. If you live in Memphis, we will work out a drop-off or pick up. I would recommend using a tracking number however you ship it.

Within about two weeks, we’ll send your completed book back to you. The book will be bound with a black coil and custom cover. The cover will be as large as your largest card. We can include photos and letters if you want. Just put them in the order you want in the card stack. We can do it whenever. So if you decide to do it next year then that’s okay too.

The book can be done for same type any type of cards: birthdays, just because, Valentine’s Day, you name it. I will put a permanent link on the left side under my profile for whenever you need it. I posted some pictures of it below. Cover and colors subject to change to availability of supplies.

What a creative idea! I love it! I would take this on the road! Seriously!

I don’t save Christmas cards, but I would’ve loved to save some of my wedding cards.

Check out all the wedding blogs and get this out there to them. I think it is an awesome idea!!

Once I return home this summer, I will definitely get my wedding cards and send them to you all. This is a wonderful idea!
