I work in a cube all day. I am a cube dweller. I don’t move a lot during the day. I am the opposite of active. I also tend to eat a lot of food out of vending machine. I need quick, not messy and easy snacks. I need it to taste good. Most healthy options taste like cardboard and/or make my breath smell bad.
So, when I had the chance to try the new Sunsweet Philippine Pineapple, I was excited to try it. I was curious to know what the difference SunSweet would offer. All dried fruit I have ever had has tasted like the cardboard I mentioned before. Imagine my surprise when I opened the bag and the pineapple pieces were soft and had such a fresh pineapple taste. No cardboard here. This is perfect for any cube dweller or any parent to give their child as a quick snack.
So, what makes Sunsweet Philippine Pineapple so different? For starters it is grown in ideal conditions in the Philippines, planted at elevations of 2,000 to 3,000 feet, where cooler temperatures help add more moisture to the finished product. In addition, Sunsweet’s dried pineapple is actually infused with real pineapple juice – it’s so sweet and juicy you don’t believe it’s actually dried fruit!
Some tasty serving suggestions include:
* Put a bag in your desk drawer for a easy, guiltless sweet snack
* Mix with coconut and nuts for a sweet, tropical treat
* Pair with tart Greek-style yogurt for a delicious kick-start to the day
