My Wants List: IzeaFest Tickets, Electronics, Video games, Comic Books

by BuckDaddy on July 24, 2009

I understand the wants versus needs argument. Heck, I’m a Dad. I have that argument all the time. Below is a list not comprehensive by any means of my wants. One of them I am going to get and I consider it a need.

1. IzeaFest
If you follow me on Twitter or red this blog, you know I want to go to IzeaFest in Orlando. This is the one on the list that I am going to make happen. Be it sell blood, stuf laying around my house, digging in the couch for change, or getting sponsorships, I am going to IzeaFest.

2. Wireless EarbudsI work in a cube all day and either my earbuds are connected to my computer speakers listening to Pandora or Blip.fm or connect to my iPod. Being 6’5″ the cord are not long enought and I sit hunched over. The Motorola S9-HD Headset with D650 iPod Adapter and Carrying Case (Gloss Black) would be super nice.

3. Marvel Ultimate Alliance for Wii and Punch-Out!!
for the Wii

With the sequel coming out soon, I would love to play the first one. It is on sale on Amazon for $19..99. Being the large geek I am this would be really fun to play. I also want Punch-Out!! because I remember playing the original and nostalgia is always good.

4. Hulk #181
Hulk #181 is the first appearance of Wolverine. Growing up I read this story numerous times and seen the reprint of it. There are lots of other first appearances that I would love to have such as Batman, Superman, and of course Spider-man but those are the price of really nice houses.

What are some of the things you want but can’t afford right now?

Skip the wireless earbuds and I'll tell you why. I've been using those for my morning workouts and they are wonderful, or they were until they suddenly stopped working completely. I bought them at a sharper image going out of business sale when they were $119.00 They are $49.00 not some places and well I can't see buying them again.

I of have a logitech wireless headset that also has a mic, that is a very nice dual role device. Great for listening to music and also if you want to use dragon naturally speaking or skype.

Also the wrap around the head ones always fell back slightly coming out of the ears and making me increase the volume, not a good thing for a guy (who's wife thinks) is going deaf.
