My Entry into BenSpark.com Ultimate IZEAFest 2009 Contest

Above is my entry into BenSpark.com Ultimate IZEAFest 2009 Contest. Please don’t be to brutal if you comment on it. It is my fist time ever recording myself or even trying to vlog something. I really did enjoy it so I might vlog more often.

Why do I Want to Hang with BenSpark at IZEAFest 2009?

As I stated in the video, I want to hang out with BenSpark is because by reading his blogs I have learned lots of things but one of my favorite is the camera hacks. I have met a couple bloggers that I interact in real life. Most of them live in Memphis as I do so it is easy for me to connect with them.

Benspark is a Dad like me. I wouldn’t lump into the Daddy Blogger catergory but I would love to meet him and hang out with him at Izeafest. He does that Photo-A-Day as well. I have learned a lot from him about photography, blogging, and Izeafest.

How will IZEAFest 2009 Change My Life?
Besides getting a much deserved vacation and going to SeaWorld where I have never been. I get to connect with and meet Ted Murphy (Izea founder), Chris Brogan (started Dad-o-matic where I write), Sarah Evans (@PRSarahEvans) and Lucretia Pruitt (GeekMommy). I use twitter and email to talk to this wonderful people but I would love to actually just meet and talk to them.

What Am I Most Looking Forward to at IZEAFEst 2009?
Besides what I mentioned in the video about meeting George Smith of Crocs and Shamu, I am excited about the surprises. The mystery guest and Arleen Anderson TBD session really have me intrigued.

I have already written Reason Number 11 to go to IzeaFest but I never expanded on the 10 Essentail Items to bring to Izeafest. My thoughts for the 11th Essential Item needed for Izeafest would be an smart phone like an iPhone or at the very least an Apple iPod touch. This way you can update your blog, twitter, and email with all the great info you are going to get at Izeafest.
