So one of the things I am going to start in 2010 is a new segment called “Nintendo Dad.”
Let me be 100% open with you. Nintendo is not sponsoring this segment. Nintendo did not approach me or even ask me to do it. Nintendo does not sanction or even aknowledge my existence. The opinions about the games are my own.
I am starting this segment because I am a fan. I love the Wii (and all its peripherals such as Wii Fit) and I love the Nintendo DS (I don’t own a DSi yet.) I have been fan since the original. I have fond memories of blowing on cartridges.
Does that mean, if Nintendo was to ask me or even send me stuff that I wouldn’t accept it. No but they would need to be warned that in my reviews I am honest and if I hate it I am going to say so. That is standards operating procedure around here.
I am going to start talking about games coming out that are cool, games that I have played that are cool, and just Nintendo news that I find cool. Maybe I will even get around to creating a logo.
Are you fan of Nintendo?

Cool deal man and I look forward to reading this segment. We have the Wii, Wi Fit and Nintendo DS and have a TON of games. I get Nintendo Power but it would be nice to hear what another blogger had to say about Nintendo and the games.
I have a Wii and I want a DS lite for Christmas. I'm glad you reminded me. You are going to love EA SPORTS Active – get More Workouts.
Thanks man. I don't get Nintendo Power but that is a good idea
Let's hope that Santa reads my blog and sees I want EA Sports Active
My six year old and I both love the Nintendo Wii. Among his favorites are Mario Kart Wii (despite constantly losing, he still has fun), Marvel Super Hero Squad (he goes nuts pummeling me as the Hulk) and Toy Story Mania (just as fun as the Disney Ride with no lines).
Funny you should mention doing a Nintendo segment. I've been considering doing one for my blog as well. I look forward to reading any reviews you post.
I love the Mario Kart but daughter is little too young to understand it. I want to try the Marvel Super Hero Squad. I will have check out the Toy Story. I will look for your segment in the future.

Awesome. I just picked up the Wii. I have three (3) girls ages 8, 5, and 2. We haven't had a gaming system in our house yet. In fact I haven't owned one since sheesh….its been a long time. Just put it this way…a few years back I tried my hand at XBox in Sears and nearly had a seizure. I'm a Mac guy but want my kids to have the gaming experience. I look forward to seeing some of your reviews. Enjoying your blog. Thx.
I have not had a system since old school NES so I feel you. My daughter was 2 when we got the Wii last year and she had fun with it. I think your girls are going to love it.
