What Nintendo Dad Thought of Ringling Bros and Barnum & Bailey for Wii

It took a long time to get to the Big Top.  You spend a lot of time honing your skills on the back lot and getting certified.  Some of them were super fun (tightrope walking and clown pie fights) and some not so much (singing dog chorus).  Along the way you earn Barnum Bucks to buy costumes or items like cotton candy.  My problem with this is there seemed to be no real purpose for after being bought.

I liked that I could use the Wii Fit Balance Board for some games.  Overall, it is a great family game.  My daughter enjoyed playing it with me.   She enjoyed the bright colors and fun of it.

Overall I give it a 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.

This game should NOT be sold. I completely oppose it. This game sends a message to kids that it is okay to force an animal, such as an Asian elephant, to do unnatural tricks for human entertainment. This game hides the fact that elephants in circuses are a tragedy. To be able to perform tricks such as painting, standing on one leg, or any of the other tricks circus elephants are forced to do, these animals must go through an appalling training process. Their training process is inhumane and unthinkably abusive.
Please reconsider what horrendous truths this game represents before purchasing it for your child. Who doesn't love the circus? The animals forced to be in it.
