Awhile back I gave away two e.l.f. large makeup collections. As part of that I got a set to keep (which I fully disclosed). My wife decided to do something she has NEVER done before. She wrote a blog post about it. Below are her words not mine. You didn’t really expect me to review it did you?
Introducing my wife, Chelsea.
After much anticipation, I finally received the new large e.l.f. makeup collection and I couldn’t be happier! The sleek black case is so appealing and makes me feel like a professional makeup artist. It’s a sturdy case that will travel easy and not need special attention. I opened the case to an entire tray of eye shadows, 84 to be exact. I love all the variety of colors, certainly enough variety for any woman of any ethnicity. The next layer contains 36 lip gloss shades and 6 blushes. Again, the variety is astounding! From clear to bright red to deep maroon. But my favorite layer is the very bottom! It has 4 concealer shades, 4 shimmer cream shades, and 4 bronzer shades…everything a girl could want! I have never had the guts to try bronzer and now, well, I’m hooked! The bottom layer is all the makeup necessities that add that little extra to your face.
I was most surprised by the quality of the products. I have tried other makeup cases before but none compare to e.l.f.’s large makeup collection. The makeup is smooth, light and creamy. Nothing feels heavy or cakey. It is such a great value to be able to buy a large variety of makeup and colors. You can try all the colors you are afraid to buy in a larger size!
I love e.l.f. concealer products, especially the pencil and brush combination. I am a big fan of great “base†makeup and e.l.f. has the best concealer products I have ever used! But my all time favorite part of e.l.f. is the custom compact options. For around one dollar you can buy an empty compact. And the colors you pick to fill your compact are only one dollar each also! How awesome is it to create your own personal compact with perfect colors for around 5 dollars!
e.l.f. seems to have a little bit of everything on the website. It is like a one stop shop for all your beauty needs. From false eyelashes to tweezers to travel bags, e.l.f. has everything! My only complaint is the website can be a little confusing to navigate. I had a really difficult time finding the makeup collections. But other than that, I am highly impressed by e.l.f. makeup.

Agreed, like the e.l.f. makeup. I was a little unsure about it, considering the price was so reasonable.. but it is great stuff!
