The reason I did this is because of Danni. When we moved into our last apartment, the carpets had just been cleaned and Danni broke out in to hives and she was in a lot of pain. She had some kind of allergic reaction to the chemicals they used. So I wanted to call in professionals. Also, the carpets were dirty because it was a foreclosure.

They were the first to call me back and they had a great deal. The Chem in Chem Dry is for Chemistry. They make sure that the chemicals they use would not hurt my daughter. They also had a 30 day “scuff free cleaning.” This was described to me as “you have a party and someone pours red wine on your white carpet with in the 30 days after we cleaned it. We’ll come back out and clean it.” This was great because I was moving and was sure to track some dirt in.

They also had some great pricing. I won’t quote their prices because it might have changed but they are always running a special. The service was excellent and they even followed up with a phone call to make sure it was done right.

Isn’t amazing that my standards for customer service have gone down because I don’t get any anywhere and then when it happens I am amazed?

The carpet guy came out and told us that the people before us had a dog. He found this out because he got down in the push-up position and smelt the dog pee on the carpet. My wife said he did everything short of tasting the carpet to find out why our carpet was dirty.

They came in and cleaned it in about 30 minutes and we had to stay off the carpet for two hours while it dried. The tech told us it looked like one room they used as a dog hotel. He also said it looked like the dog just opened it’s bladder and ran around the room. That room was to be Danni’s room. The room that is our office, the tech told us that it looked like the previous owner took a block of caramel and let it sit there for a year and just let it melt.

I was very please with the overall service and customer service. Definitely use Whit Lock Chem dry if you live in the Mid-South Area. If you don’t look up Chem Dry and use them.
